Turning
Writer: Annabelle Bok
Picture borrowed from thoughtsandmusings.wordpress.com I feel it like a half-touched wound Your absence in Your presence Increasingly intangible These twenty-odd past days
Your presence lingers where I've been And calls to me in whispers Sporadically audible, but There are still these other days
Still I know somewhere within With a knowledge I can't hide To deny You now is suicide And a turning from the light
If I ran forever Still I'd never leave Your hand If perchance I fall or stumble You'd still offer me Your arm And so I'll turn, and turning I will find my pathway back to loving You.
