INSIDE >> Issue 07.2006 "Alone or Lonely?"  The Drummer by Richard LeeEditorial _____________ (thinking back from March 2007 at July 2006) Were we alone or were we lonely? The print publication had come to an end. We surmised from our measly finances that we could not continue what we had thought would be an unbeatable prospect - the only printed art magazine in Singapore. Unfortunately, the trend for art magazines in Singapore still bucked under monetary lack. Where, oh God, would you be directing us next? Would the online magazine do better? Such were the types of questions that the editorial team had, and wondered about. We were small but we loved what we did. We loved the stories of each Christian artist that came our way. We looked forward to sharing the news of the scene with the readers. We hoped with anticipation the kind of influence that we would make with each report. How glorious the dreams of man. And how mysterious the hand of God, that we now stood like a lonesome ship adrift in the middle of the sea. So what were we? Like Ezekiel said, "O Sovereign LORD, you alone know."
