Prayer by Hannah Teoh

EDITORIAL
________________________

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Tis the season to pray more. The image Hannah's Prayer (taken by Hannah Toeh) suggests what spiritual atmosphere can really like when we see by faith.

As 2 Corinthians says, Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling...so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life...We live by faith, not by sight. (verses 1, 7)

As long we choose to live by the Spirit and dwell on heavenly things, what we discern will radically transformed before our eyes because the Kingdom of God is neither here nor there, but within us.

INSIDE >> Issue 11.2006 "Reflections"

The Tortoise by Richard Lee

Dear readers,

This month, CreateLeVoyage.com brings you on a journey through Reflections :

Poem
Our Corner, a column that centres about relationships, fact or fiction, features two new works from Jackie Pau and Anne Chua. Jackie's poem, Mid-Autumn Reflections, is reminiscent of an ode to love. It starts with the lines As Sadness boldly stole my soul/I watched in helpless wonder.

Column
Writer Anne Chua writes candidly about one morning's struggle to get to church in When the Going gets Tough... It is notated in a running confession style, between what she would have preferred and what was actually best for her, ending with the line "This is specially written for you who is still struggling out there in your Christian journey."

Listings
Yang Ming recommends relevant websites on the new Whats On Online at the last segment of the events' listings.

Recommended
Read back on Walking On Water - our interview with his dynamic Christian band spanned two interviews and a review of their last gig in August, Into Our Faith.

Next Month : Dec 2006
A Christian response to the Singapore Biennale 2006,
review of the timely book Sights and Sounds edited by Bishop Solomon and Lim K. Tham,
and Artist interview with Anne Chua, director of Tapestry Playback Theatre.

Have a great month!
