Do you sometimes find moments in your life where you are playing out a different tune? Do you wonder why some people just don't seem to strike the right note? Come and discover stories, of eccentricity, of idiosyncrasies, of individuals or society at large. Presented by Tapestry Playback Theatre.

SINGAPORE BIENNALE 2008

The inaugural international contemporary visual arts event is back again! Follow-up by the hugely successful Singapore Biennale 2006, the exhibitions challenge you to wonder anew at the world you live in. Featuring 50 renowned international and local artists from various artists disciplinary with the likes of Ilya and Emilia Kabakov, Deborah Kelly, Heman Chong, Tang Ling Nah and many more.

MUSIC

A NIGHT OF SONGS WITH FRIENDS

Join soprano Christine Seng and pianist John Chua as they present an evening of classical art-songs and popular classics. The programme includes a mix of repertoire by Debussy, Faure, Barber, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Wolf, as well as folksongs and other familiar favourites.

EVENT

24TH SINGAPORE FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL 2008

Over 20 French films are making their debut screening in this annual event, organised by Alliance Francaise de Singapour, the French Embassy and Cathay organisation. Films such as Chasseurs De Dragons (Dragon Hunters) is making its debut screening. An animated film about a little girl who believes in fairy tales and when she finally meet the most terrifying dragon, it was like a dream come true for her.
